TADA! Youth Theater Launches Registration For 2024 Week-Long Musical Theater Public and Private School Break Camps


Families may register now for TADA! Youth Theater 2024 week-long musical theater public and private school break camps at TADA! Youth Theater at 15 West 28th Street, 3rd floor, between Broadway & Fifth Avenue, in Manhattan.

Students attend TADA! week-long musical theater school break camps from Monday through Friday from 9 am to 1:30 pm for ages 4 to 5,  and 9 am to 5 pm for ages 6 to 10 on:

February 19th through February 23rd

It's a MEOW-sical (Ages 4-5);

Lights, Camera, ACTION! (Ages 6-10)

March 18th through March 22nd

Pirates & Princesses! (Ages 4-5);

Eat. Sleep. BROADWAY. Repeat (Ages 6-10)

April 22nd through April 26th

Pirates & Princesses! (Ages 4-5);

Eat. Sleep. BROADWAY. Repeat (Ages 6-10)

Through improvisation and good old-fashioned fun, students work as an ensemble to co-create an original mini-musical based on the assigned show title for the week. It's the perfect blend of musical theater training, storytelling, and fun theater games to keep young minds engaged, active, and having a blast all week long!

During Winter and Spring 2024, students will create, rehearse, and perform their very own original mini-musical at TADA! Youth Theater week-long musical theater school break camps. Young people explore their interests and identity, share their voice and be heard, receive individualized attention and solo opportunities, and experience ensemble-based instruction by professional NYC Teaching Artists while making connections with new friends.  On the last day of class, we invite friends and family to attend the debut of their child's original mini-musical!

TADA! ONE-DAY CAMPS

One-Day Camp Musicals include Hamilton; The Lion King; The Little Mermaid; Moana; Aladdin; The Greatest Showman and Matilda!

Learn vocals and choreography to a show-stopping Broadway musical at TADA! one-day camps for ages 5-7 and 8-12.  Enjoy the fun and excitement of musical theater from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on your day off from school on January 15th; April 10th; June 6th and June 7th.

TADA! is a unique Drama Desk award-winning nonprofit youth theater that produces original musicals for children, teens, and family audiences. TADA! offers a free, year-round, pre-professional training and positive youth development program for members of the Resident Youth Ensemble of TADA! (RYET), talented youth ages 8-18; musical theater classes/camps for the public; as well as musical theater residencies in NYC schools and community centers. TADA!'s high-quality work enhances young people's self-confidence and creativity which develops advanced skills in leadership, communication, responsibility, collaboration, and problem-solving – skills that help with growing up and are essential to their success both in school and in life.

CampYATC Teacher Megan Hilty says, “The only thing I don’t like about YATC, is it wasn’t around when I was a teenager!” Having returned to YATC numerous times, working professionals like Hilty acting as Summer Camp Master Class teachers is just one of the things that sets this summer camp apart from many others. Hilty is just one of the amazing guest faculty teaching in the 20th Anniversary Season of The Young Actors’ Theatre Camp. The luckiest campers in the world will also get to learn from Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice), Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls), Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Laurie Metcalf (The Conners) and many more!
